GBC Youth Series: I Timothy 4:12
Over the last several months in the youth ministry we have been studying I Timothy 4:12. The Word of God says, “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” We have had a total of seven lessons. Below is the text outlines that were used. The lesson series includes all illustrations and points for application. The series included the following:
- Lesson on being a “believer” where we addressed the foundational “BE” level of an individual. This is not only salvation, but also an individual’s walk with the Lord.
- Lesson on each of the specific traits listed by the Apostle Paul as follows: word (mouth/tongue), conversation (conduct or behavior), charity, spirit, faith, and purity.
