In an effort to keep you updated on what lessons your teens have received this year, here is a list. I would be happy to send you a copy of the document at your own request. Please let me know how I can be a blessing.
Max Fernandez
January 5th, 2011 - “What Are You Known to God for?” - This lesson taught on faith and attitude before the Lord. The story basis for this lesson was the healing of the centurion’s servant in Luke 7 and Matthew 8.
February 2, 2011 - “A Notable Miracle” from Acts 3 & 4 dealt with having a true account of your salvation that produces irrefutable evidence in life.
March 23, 2011 - “Responding Amidst Rebels” from James 4 dealt with how to respond when others around us are rebelling.
June 22, 2011 - “A Valued Property” – This lesson was from Exodus 19:5 and dealt with obedience to God’s Word.
August 31, 2011 - “As I Was in the Days of My Youth” from Job 29:4. This lesson was about the preservation of God, the providential care of God, and the presence of God.
September 14, 2011 - “Whose Shall Those Things Be” from Luke 12 / Determining what matters most in life as a teenager.
October 5, 2011 - “Yet Lackest Thou One Thing” – Idols in the heart / Using the story of the rich young ruler in Matthew 19.
November 30, 2011 to Present: I Timothy 4:12 – We have been covering this verse in detail. Each segment has been covered in one full 30 to 45 minute lesson:
- ”Be and example…” – Learning to be the right person before trying to do the right thing.
- ”Word” – We covered speech that is vulgar, sexually-oriented, sensual, cursing, and cussing…etc
- ”Conversation” – This area covers behavior.
- ”Charity” – Agape love: We discussed how we obtain this, and how the Lord lives this out through.
- ”Spirit” – Being a spirit-filled student.
- ”Faith” – Living life as though you are seeing Christ.
- ”Purity” – PURITY IN EVERY AREA OF LIFE. – This lesson is the next lesson we will be teaching, and the only one left in this series to teach.

February 13, 2011 - “Does the Truth still Exist” – by Gary Lewis. This was part of the Sunday school series.
Baptist Distinctives [five lessons] - Per our Pastor’s request, we taught the book of Jude. As an addendum to this book, we added the 7 Baptist distinctives.
February 16, 2011 - “Authority” by Donnie Sixt dealt with responding to authorities in life.
February 20, 2011 “Thy Word is Truth” by Gary Lewis. This was part of the Sunday school series.
March 9, 2011 - “Satan’s Goal for Believers” by Ian Wilson from Luke 22:31 – 32
April 6, 2011 - Message on the Holy Spirit and Tongues in the Word of God. This was by request of the students.
July 6, 2011 - “The Root Cause” by Tony Green dealt with issues of the heart.
